Where the Light Touches is an oil painting and a meditation on flow, memory, and stillness. As an Algarve artist, I created this piece during a time of personal reflection, inspired by the natural spring I hear daily from my studio, a sound that offers both grounding and release. Its continuous flow has become a quiet companion, drifting into my space and gently reminding me to pause, breathe, and let go.

Captured at dusk, the scene holds the subtle glow of fading light as it touches the water. The dusk light reflects on the water droplets, creating a sense of magic in the air. The flow is constant and soothing, a quiet rhythm that carries with it a gentle sense of renewal.
