Golden Hour was taken during one of those rare moments when nature seems to pause just for you. I was walking along the Alvor boardwalk as the sun was beginning to set, and suddenly, the entire sky came alive with a radiant, fiery glow of deep orange and pink hues wrapping around me like a warm embrace.

It felt as though I was completely surrounded by colour. The energy in the air was electric, yet calming, uplifting and deeply grounding all at once. The reflection of the sky on the still water was so vivid and clear, it seemed to overpower the shadows, revealing a stunning clarity that caught my breath. In that moment, I felt a powerful presence, a sense of stillness and awe, as if the Earth was putting on a show just for me.

As an Algarve artist moments like this remind me why I create. Golden Hour is more than just a sunset photograph, it’s a celebration of joy, light, and the beauty that this planet offers us when we take a moment to truly look.
