Golden Glow was captured on an evening that felt almost otherworldly. I was driving back from a mountain walk with my dog, the windows down, the air still warm, and the quiet hum of the countryside all around us. As we descended through the winding roads of Monchique, the golden hour gently unfolded into something extraordinary.

It was as if a magic golden glow filtered through the cork oak trees, casting everything in its path, the road, leaves, bark, even the dust in the air, in a radiant wash of light. The entire landscape shimmered with warmth, as though the sun had softened and draped itself across the land one final time before setting.

As an Algarve artist moments like these nourish my creative spirit. This photograph isn't just about a sunset, it's about a feeling. The stillness. The awe. The deep, grounding peace of the Algarve countryside.
